EURO-CIU SUMMER CAMP for Teenagers: SUCCESS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Almost 40 teenagers with cochlear implants from seven countries participated in the EURO-CIU Summer Camp in Telč, Czech Republic, 20th-27th July 2024. Telč is a stunningly beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site.

The youngsters made new international friends, had lots of fun, improved their English, gained social confidence, played games, exercised, partied, laughed, made music, tried inserting a cochlear electrode into a surgeon’s training aid, learned about CI advocacy and the issues relating to each participating country, and much much more.

The camp was expertly organised by SUKI, a EURO-CIU member association.
