IFOS training event: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Sue Archbold was delighted to be part of the IFOS (International Federation of ORL Societies) educational session with the ASEAN and Vietnamese Society of ORL in Ho CHI Minh City, invited by Professor Chung Thuy and Professor Angel Ramos. She shared  CIICA’s advocacy activities and particularly about the young adults with CI – our growing stakeholder group and reminded everyone for the need to think about long term CI services. 

200 delegates attended the two day meeting, with over 800 on line, sharing the great international expertise in the room.

More people from SE Asia joined CIICA as a result and we discussed ways of making participation easier in SE Asia and of involving parents and young people. We look forward to further collaboration!
