The NiSSL Lab conducts research with cochlear implant and hearing-aid users as well as Deaf and hearing signers to understand how these experiences impact the brain and perception. We are seeking volunteers for a study looking into how sound and vision influence speech understanding in individuals with cochlear implants. Participants must satisfy the following criteria:

• Ages 18+
• Acquired, severe to profound hearing loss leading to cochlear implant
• Normal or corrected to normal vision
