SWEDISH CI STATISTICS FROM BARNPLANTORNA

Ann Charlotte Gyllenram has been collecting CI statistics for many years in Sweden to use in her advocacy work with Barnplantorna. She now has collected them from before and after the pandemic – and they show that levels are not back to prepandemic levels.

She points out that the statistics reveal that the CI-treatment is still far below what is needed in Sweden. Also it is different depending where you live. Here are the figures for children (barn) and adults from 2016 -2020:
