LIVING GUIDELINES: LISTENING TO CI USERS

The CIICA network was involved in the development through our Chair,  Leo De Raeve and through four Conversations with users and families. The separate summaries are  below – but you can download the fascinating summary of all the Conversations here: LIVING GUIDELINES SUMMARY OF CONVERSATIONS

This is a fantastic discussion to have. I am really happy to be here today.

The point of view of every guideline should be the person and their significant others.

The CIICA CONVERSATIONS  highlighted the need for person centred CI services, for functional outcomes assessments, and the involvement of peer groups and have influenced the final recommendations.

CIICA has held several CIICA CONVERSATIONS with users of CI about the development of the Guidelines, in order to ensure that what CI users think is important about the services they receive is included. Go to https://ciicanet.org/events/?tag=ciica-conversation to see what has been said.

See here the summaries of the Conversations so far:
