SORRY THIS CONVERSATION IS NOW FULL.
The education of deaf children has been changed with the advent of CI – bringing new opportunities and challenges. Are you working with children with CI in mainstream schools, either as a mainstream teacher, teacher of the deaf or classroom assistant? Do join us for the first of our education conversations on this topic for you to share your experiences.
Led by Steph Halder, lead teacher of the deaf at UCL CI programme, London, Teresa Quail, teacher of the deaf and educational audiologist, and National Executive Officer at British Association of Teachers of the Deaf, Karolien Swerts, teacher and Ester Nijns therapist, working together in Belgium supporting the inclusion of deaf children with CI, and Bowen Tang, a bilateral CI user and teacher of the deaf from Canada.
Our Conversations are online, in small groups to enable discussion and promote sharing of good practice. Captioning in English will be provided and in other languages on request.
