CIICA CONVERSATION: CONSULTING ON THE LIVING GUIDELINES

CIICA  welcomes the consultation on the Living Guidelines; they will provide welcome international standards on the provision of hearing care for adults with severe hearing loss. CIICA supports the recommendations, including the need to ensure that all who could benefit are assessed for cochlear implantation. CIICA is especially pleased to see the focus on ensuring that all care is person-centred and what is going to work best to improve their lives. Our Chair Leo De Raeve has been one of the leaders of the 52 international experts and involved on behalf of CIICA in this process.
