TUESDAY 17 June 19:00 UK, 20:00,CET, 11:00 PDT; 04:00 AEST (next day); 06:00 NZ (next day)

In making policy changes it is vital to influence the decision makers. Join an interchange of ideas from leading advocates across the globe working on hearing loss and CIs to discuss what has been successful in persuading governments, health departments and decision makers to invest in hearing services and what you can do within your context. This CIICA conversion will be limited to 20 participants to ensure time for discussion so sign up now to reserve your space. Chaired by Anita Grover, CE of Auditory Verbal Therapy, who was previously also a senior official in the UK Government with case studies from successful advocacy campaigns and who herself is a CI user.

She will be joined by Tori Bishop Rowe,  who has been works with Anita on their very active campaigns with the UK Parliament, with Steve Kittur from Kenya, who has recently been successful in establishing newborn screening in Kenya with government support  and Brian Lamb, Public Policy Advisor to CIICA, who has run many successful policy campaigns for both adults and children.
