This inspiring conversation for young adults was led by Lucas Armengol, Spain,  and Raquel LeBlanc, Canada,  who shared their experiences of navigating sports with a cochlear implant, the challenges faced and how to overcome them. They were delighted to welcome participation contributions and experiences!

Key themes from the discussion included:

• Sports environments were not always accessible for cochlear implant users

• Communication and feeling confident in sports could be challenging

• Support and small adjustments from coaches and teams made a significant difference
