This CIICA Conversation focused on the realities of remote care and online appointments, exploring the support young adults were receiving and what they still needed.

Led by Dr. Jessica Hissam, Executive Director of NextGen Deaf and a cochlear implant user from the USA, this session invited discussion around key questions:

  • What has your experience been with remote care and online appointments?

  • What support are you currently receiving?

  • What’s missing, and what do you need moving forward?

Participants shared what had been working for them and what hadn’t.

The CIICA CONVERSATION provides a safe place to share your thoughts and experiences with others in a small group of young adult CI users from around the world.
