CI Advocacy and The World Report on Hearing: summaries
The World Report on Hearing, launched on 3 March 2021, is an excellent resource of evidence and references to support the development of Ear and Hearing Services globally. However, it is 242 pages long, so we need to be able to find the relevant parts for our advocacy work – and many advocacy groups have little time!
Brian Lamb and Sue Archbold have developed four summaries of the evidence relevant for CI advocacy work which will provide the data and statements you need to support your CI advocacy activities. Available four resources to help with the implications of the World Report on Hearing for CI advocacy – and available to translate!
- Download the Briefing summary (PDF): English, French, Russian,
- Download the Synopsis (PDF): English, Dutch, Turkish, Russian, German, French, Italian
- Download a summary of the ADULT CI evidence from the World Report (PDF)
- Download the Children’s CI advocacy evidence from the World Report on Hearing (PDF)
If you wish to translate them please contact info@ciicanet.org. We already have people translating into French, Italian, German, Georgian, Spanish and Turkish. Hope you find them helpful!
