CIICA Events

We have two types of CIICA EVENTS: CIICA LIVE and CIICA CONVERSATIONS.

CIICA LIVE events have presentations from our global Community Members on a specific topic that has been suggested, and discussion is encouraged in the chat room. They last 90 minutes, are captioned and the presentations are available afterward for those who missed them or would like to share them.

CIICA CONVERSATIONS are for small groups to discuss a suggested topic for a short time: one hour. The conversations are facilitated by some of our Community Members, captioned and the summary of the issues which emerged are published on the website afterward.

CIICA LIVE: CI ADVOCACY IN ACTION

CI ADVOCACY IN ACTION, our live conference in Brussels was an amazing event with 100 delegates from 29 countries, including 38 CI users. This CIICA LIVE on line event, chaired by Professor Holly Teagle, heard further from some of the speakers as they shared reflections and plans which have emerged from this vibrant meeting. CIICA's first conference: GLOBAL CI ADVOCACY IN ACTION, in Brussels at our legal home was inspiring and global. 100 delegates from 27 countries spent 2 days communicating, exploring their advocacy successes and challenges. With over a third of the participants CI users or parents, there was true representation - Nothing about us without us was a reality! Photos and presentations here now.
