Our conversations on Person Centred CI Services revealed that for many people they didn't ask the questions they wished they had done before implantation. They "didn't know what they didn't know". NEW RESEARCH BRIEFING FOR ADULTS
A new Research Roundup from Brian Lamb, focusses on the advocacy implications of new research on adults with CI including evidence on the challenges of CI provision in South Africa from patients perspectives, new evidence that CIs may impact on cognitive decline, cost effectiveness of CI for single sided deafness and the long term outcomes of children implanted with CIs who are now adults and patients views of CI in Australia.
